Shota Shimizu Heats Things Up in “FIRE” PV

Shota Shimizu is currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of his debut. To mark the occasion, he will release a new single, “FIRE”, on February 21. “FIRE” deals with hot emotions, with the music video being full of its namesake. The clip was shot in freezing temperatures, with flames surrounding Shota. Check it out after the jump, along with more information his new single!

      though I’m not a connoisseur regarding his discography, I do know and like a few songs. His voice and the way he blends keyboards -piano more often than not- with soulful melodic lines and urban beats more or less inspired by rap certainly shape a distinctive identity. This vid is nice and the first part of the song appeals to me then when it goes real rap at 1’50”, it kind of ruins it for me.

    • Not sure about the rap part, but I liked this. I’m glad this one doesn’t have the excessive use of autotune that plagues some of his songs.

    • I love Shota’s vocal and i love his songs 💜 I love this song too but rap part… i’m not sure. Maybe i like it if i listen it few more times. *I guess nobody liked the rap part*

      Love him so so so much. This song is just okay though. Not bad, but kinda bland.
