Chara has just released two new songs through iTunes — ‘Setsunakute Gomen Ne‘ and ‘Rainbow‘ (though worldwide availability is questionable).

The songs have tie-ins with the fashion brand KOE in which she and her daughter SUMIRE are ambassadors for. Cross company, which operates Maison de FLEUR and THOM BROWN. New York, describes this venture as a “music & ecology brand” with accessible ladies, mens, kids, juniors and maternity clothing that uses raw, ethical materials. Within the next three years they plan for global expansion.

The CMs have only aired in Kagawa and Okayama Prefecture so far but future expansion throughout Japan has yet to been revealed.

In other news, the Chara and Insist collaboration single entitled ‘I don’t know‘ comes out next week. The A-side ‘I don’t know’ is inspired by 90′s R&B with singing from Chara and rapping from Insist’s MC Basi, while the coupling tracks are all mellow but groovy songs.
