Kawatani Enon is CANCELED: Band activities suspended after underage drinking report

The notorious career ruiner strikes again—this time, it’s his band members’ at stake.

Enon Kawatani, the vocalist of Gesu no Kiwami Otome and Indigo la End, has suspended his band’s activities after being caught drinking with his girlfriend, 19-year-old actress Honoka Rin only days before she turned the legal drinking age in Japan.

Check out what he and his label had to say below:

His label SPACE SHOWER NETWORK commented:

Thank you for your support of indigo la End and Gesu no Kiwami Otome.

Following unsatisfactory reports at this time, as the company affiliated with Kawatani Enon, the vocalist of indigo la End and Gesu no Kiwami Otome, we regretfully confirm that he had been drinking alcohol with a minor.

This is a very serious offense.

After the completion of some currently scheduled activities, it has been decided by Kawatani Enon and band members that both bands will halt activities until further notice.

We apologize for the inconvenience and for worrying fans and stakeholders.

Kawatani Enon comments:

To everyone that has been rooting for indigo la End and Gesu no Kiwami Otome:

At this time, the reports about me, Kawatani Enon, drinking alcohol with a minor, are true.

My thoughtless actions have disappointed all our fans. I deeply apologize for how I have inconvenienced both my band members and our stakeholders.

It is with deep regrets to say, after the completion of some currently scheduled activities, I decided to voluntarily refrain from further activities.

To all the fans that were looking forward to new music, I’m deeply sorry.

Please accept my heartfelt apologies.

Gesu no Kiwami Otome’s third album “Daruma Ringo” previously saw a December 7th release date but has been put on hold.

A time frame for the group’s resumption of activities has not been given.
