May J. to release her 8th full-length album

R&B and pop singer May J. will release her eight album on October 25th. The album, titled ‘Futuristic’, will come out in four different editions: a CD-only version, a version with one bonus DVD, a version with two bonus DVDs, and a 10th anniversary special edition box that includes the album, five bonus DVDs and a photo booklet.

‘Futuristic’ includes songs written by May J. herself. In addition to her own work, there are songs in the album crafted by veterans of the business. For example, ‘Haha to Musume no 10 000 Nichi ~ Mirai no Tobira~’, a duet with Aki Yashiro previously released as a single, is written and composed by singer-songwriter Angela Aki, who also produced the track. The creative forces behind ‘Have Dreams!’ are Hello! Project producer Tsunku and Tetsuya Komuro, a singer and producer who has previously worked with such artists as Ayumi Hamasaki and Namie Amuro.

What’s the point of calling this album “Futuristic” if it to use old ass looking calligraphic typo??

    • …i thought she was gonna be a robot or something. lol okay

    • TlPPO

Still counting the days til she fades into oblivion

      • Why? did she annoy you or did something questionable?

        • TlPPO

it’s a personal thing, she hasn’t done anything scandalous to jeopardize her career.
I just find her and her songs very meh. She has the pipes but no soul, but that’s only my unpopular(?) opinion. :)

          • Well, kind of agree as well. She certainly has the skills and techniques, but she didnt real touch me with her singing. But she seemed like irl sweetheart so I still like her lol

    • rshina

there’s nothing futuristic in the cover, so I hope there’s one in the song

    • AkaneHaga

“…and Tetsuya Komuro, a singer and producer who has previously worked with such artists as Ayumi Hamasaki and Namie Amuro”, was that some low-key shade directed at the most iconic Japanese music producer of the 90’s?
