Arashi’s “Japonism” Is the Best Selling Asian Album and the 25th Best Selling Album Worldwide of 2015

Arashi’s “Japonism” was the top selling album of 2015 in Japan, with the Oricon year end chart reporting that the album had sold 981,639 copies. But “Japonism” is not only topping the chart in Japan, but in Asia as a whole. The official Twitter of The World Music Awards recently announced Arashi’s album was the best selling Asian album of 2015.

 

The tweet also announced that “Japonism” is the 25th best selling album worldwide of 2015. But they were not the only Japanese act on the list of the the 100 best selling albums of 2015 globally. Eight other Japanese acts appeared on the list:
